Lost Horizon

Picture
i Breathe and Breathe the air so clear
i See and Stare at you so dear
the Beauty of your form is Born
from swirling leaves that Trees Adorn

Forlorn, Forlorn the branches bare
they Fall from Grace, your face so fair
and Bless the Ground resounding you
Whistling Wondrous Waves of blue

Ocean of Sky Arise with me
See the Eyes that paint your sea
Mermaid of Shade with raven hair
Your face the Sun Shadows the air

i look at Brooks and rivers High
and Drink the Mist where you reside
my mind turns Black with silence Deep
the Moon of You dost cast my sleep

silvery Beams and Streams of light
Arise my Soul and take aflight
and Sing the Songs of love to you
Whistling Wondrous waves of blue

the Starry ocean and Teary sky
Meet and Greet where you Reside
the Horizon Lost as pairs unite
I AM the Sea ..|.. You are the Night

that Line that Separates the Two
that's Bright with White and Black with Blue
Dissolves into the golden light
With Thought of you, O breathless Sight

Shall I Compare Thee To Love

Picture
Shall I compare thee to Love
Tis like comparing the Gibbous Moon
To thousands of Suns Above
Love Herself pales in your bloom

Shall I Compare Thee to Agape
Tis like comparing one drop of morning dew
To the azure blue vastness of the seas
For what is love without beauty's hue
But darkness wrapped up in a dream

Shall I compare thee to amore
Tis like placing bits of gilded glass
Next to flawless diamond ore
Love Herself, makes a desperate pass
To be the diamond your beauty bore
Through my eyes, shes wears you at last

Shall I compare thee to a million hearts
Singing and bathing in Love's delight
Tis like comparing mud to renaissance art
Mona Lisa's smile melted in your sight
And angels gaze and strum their harps

Shall I compare thee to love
Tis like comparing a snowflake to the mighty storm cloud
For the beauty of Love has its source
In an unspeakable magnificence such as yours
And I a poet , am but that snowflake
Seeking its source...with a heart that aches
For You.......

Remote Viewing

Picture
Across all time, all planets lost
Twain souls descend in blackened seas
Into the blue with chills and frost
A Light dost warm the frigid breeze

On my knees In Fleshly Gown
Arise my soul, no longer drowned

The shore of light is now in sight
Beauty beyond the steller stars
Out of focus yet still ignites
My heart with warmth from afar

On my knees I pray for love
Arise my soul and catch the dove

Holy spirit now fills the land
My eyes the sky and feet the sand
I look with sun and moon to you
Oh distance star with love's great tune

On my knees in Heaven High
Arise my soul grow wings and fly

Soaring, Soaring in breathless air
Westward is the sun's great dance
I breathe the thought of Beauty Fair
And fly in hopes of Distant chance

You seem so far like distant stars
Across great lands and mountains high
But wings of Love and Poesy Spar
And fight and win o'er Space and Time

These rhymes you hear inside of you
Are beats of love straight from my heart
Oh distant star your light embues
These eyes that do remotely view
A love so blind that all is Art
When seen through Beauty That is True

Sense of Delight

Sight
Oh Soul of mine, didst we find
a match of color and of hue.
A match so true that tears of blue
Paint the sky of my soul anew

Sound
O Spirit in me, can it finally be
A matching sound and symphony
My inner ear yearns to hear
Your sweet music of the celestial spheres

Touch
O Spark of fire thou didst inspire
A matching flame that feels the same
Touch my heart that pines to capture
A love sublime and filled with rapture

Taste
O Eternal Space thats laced with love
May I taste thy essence in another one
My flowering buds wish to forever savor
Your Heavenly Ambrosia and honey-sweet  flavor

Smell
O Source of all befall in me
A sense of olfactory blissful glee
Let me smell her redolent presence
Her flowering aromas and beautiful essence

Synesthesia
My senses explode and implode with bliss
Ecstatic transcendence engaged by kiss
My eyes hear music, my ears smell flowers
My nose sees beauty and my tongue feels showers
My skin tastes the touch of the miracle of you...
I Sense this poem may soon come true?

The Blue Dress

Picture
I look at you in dress of blue
And skies above come down
I see your form in azure hue
Your smile the sun adorns your gown

Oh dress of light take stellar flight
The night now bright with noon-day skies
I see your face of grace tonight
As hues of blue embue and rise

Arise, Arise O Sun of Night
Full moon of glory pales the story
Eclipse the prose with poems of you
Novel Sight rests blue with glory

Awake, Awake O Lake of Blue
Wet with dreams and Mountain streams
Shimmering dew of aquatic hues
Morning Star of mirrored beams

Hail, Hail O grail of Light
Fill my chalice with delight
With each breath and thought
My love is wrought
Lets dance tonight
In Midnight Light
Your Form is Born
In skies Above
And Skies dew fall
Like Wintery Dove
Your face replaces
The Pale Blue Moon
With Light so bright
 I Must Sing Your Tune
In each verse and turn
Of these words you hear
I'll Praise Your Beauty
For a Cosmic Year

May I have this Dance with You?
A Beauty that is Dressed in Blue
Bringing Light upon the blackened Night
Oh Dress of Light Take Steller Flight
...With me tonight

A Bronzed Beauty Beyond Nefertiti

12/26/2011

Picture
The timeless Nile flows fertile and fierce
The sands of the hourglass its drops do pierce
Into the buried past of Great Pharaohs and Queens
The most memorable of All was Nefertiti
The name which means "the beautiful one has come"
To help bring forth a revolution worshipping the Sun
The Great Solar-Disk was the symbol of the day
But it was nearly eclipsed with her beautiful face
O Royal Queen of Egypt your loveliness is entombed
In the collective hearts of man, adorned with double plume
Wearing long flowing white, you are fairest to the Pharaohs
Pyramid-like Pulchritude, your beauty rises incomparable
Though the Great Solar-Disk didst set in the past
The crowning comeliness of Nefertiti is mummified to last
But Eternal Beauty never sets but only changes her face
And she is resurrected in New York by Liberty’s grace

The Road I Took

12/24/2011

Picture
Two paths emerged into my life
At crossroads bridge amidst some strife
One was clear, the other opaque
The left one bright, and right one faint.

Two voices I heard with varying words
As to which path might be the right place.
Twain tales were told, one soft and one bold
The left and the right side pleaded their case.

The left was known, safe and like home
Fenced with fear, but well lit and clear
The right was an abyss, yet dark with bliss
A road with no way, and hidden from day.

Jumping the fence I called my home
I decided to leap with faith and rome
The untrodden path that ascends into stars
The lights in the sky that mistakenly seemed far

When I left my house, things started going right
I embraced the moment with no struggle or fight
But the road that I took in the nook of the night
Was a path leading in, not a road leading right.

The Golden Pearl

Picture
Awake I am beyond all words
Nothing's seen and naught is heard
Scentless thoughts escape my mind
Tasteless beauty far beyond all time

Vision of you comes shining through
And breaks the shell of eternal blue
Light is seen and sounds rejoice
I smell the sea and taste your voice

Rainbows wrap around the sky
Bird sing songs and eagles fly
Comets flash and meteors shower
The sun opens like empyrean flower

My Innermost ear hammers so clear
And Stirs up my mind with melody
Anvil of grace doth forge thy face
A Symphony of sounds alas I see

Awake, Awake Aurora of Dawn
Orb of mellifluous misty song
I open my eyes in golden surprise
And feel thy rays in myriad ways

Amber flares fall from the skies
Streaks of joy through lapis eyes
I feel the deepness of thy ocean
My hearts a clam with pearls in motion

Ambrosial eyes flash from the night
I taste thy sweetness in pure delight
My mouth's in heaven with honeyed thoughts
I savor thy beauty and pearls are wrought

O Golden Pearl from infinite sea
Open with redololent rosy glee
I smell aromas crafted in heaven
That do defy both dream and sweven
I go to sleep with thoughts of you
I hear your glory and golden hue
I feel your warmth, O flaxen pearl
A taste of heaven streams to my world

A Beauty Beyond Mona Lisa

Picture
My heart dost float on Venetian Streams
As the boat of your holy image passes by me

O Angelic Artist you stroke the canvas of my heart
And with a paintbrush of pink love you do impart

A Mona Lisa of Love that Thrills my Sistine Frame
And fills the ceiling of my being with Empyrean stain

This Masterpiece of Beauty dost gently rest
On the Altar of my soul
In the Temple of my breast

Far beyond the Beauty of Venus and Aphroditian Form
Your Beauty may inspire the greatest art ever born

The Noble Soul of Michealangelo
Marvels at your artistic grace
And the spirit of Leonardo
Wishes he could have captured your face

These are a sample of what I feel are some of the best poems I have written since 1998. All of them were inspired by Love. I hope they move and inspire as they did me when I wrote them ;-)
