I recently helped a new friend study for a physics final and when asked how I learned how to do what I do to be successful, I quickly thought of this quote from Jim Rohn. And I was no stranger at all to formal education getting a bachelors degree in Biology and Physics from Georgia Tech and a Masters Degree in Physics from IUP in Pennsylvania (seven years total of college!). Lucky for me that I was first introduced to network marketing in 1990 and even though I was not successful initially it DID plant a seed, especially the new idea of owning my own business and working from home. After getting my Masters degree I DID teach for 5 years as an adjunct part time, but I continued my search for a home business initially through network marketing and finally through internet marketing. But this did not happen by luck or overnight. I estimate that I spent at least $50,000 (probably more) on courses, seminars, books and audios learning from all the best internet gurus like Frank Kern, John Reese, Ryan Dyeiss, Mike Filsaime, Jeff Johnson, Jeff Walker, Brad Fallon/Andy Jenkins of Stompernet, Buck Rizvi/Brock Felt, Armand Morin, and many more. And I continue learning and refining my skill set... Its a lifetime of continuing education in not only learning internet marketing, but also personal development. Personal development is a process of reprogramming your mind with a continuous flow of positive and inspiration thoughts from people already successful. I really do not know anyone who is REALLY successful who does not do this. Listening to Tony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, Jim Rohn, Peter Ragnar, Zig Zigler, etc etc and anyone who inspires you to succeed is also EXTREMELY important. Why? Because if you listen to these cds, mp3s or videos, you reprogram your subconscious for success. Without personal development at least 30min/day, your mind caves in to the negative thoughts and beliefs of your own mind, friends, family, media, religion, etc... This is essential! Just felt inspired to share that today, and encourage everyone who has a 9-5 J.O.B. to start part time your own business via self education and personal development.
