The Great Olympian Games 12/26/2011
O Grecian Urn of great perfection Chiseled with time liked finely aged wine You grow better despite Time's objection The hands of the clock dost sculpt your climb O Mountain of Olympus you rise like a God A Statue of excellence polished with heights Yet your Olympian feats stay rooted in sod As you stretch to the heavens and bring down their lights O thunderbolt of Thor your enlightening strikes with power From the top of Mount Olympus you reign as a King Your body is daily strengthened like an untouchable tower With ramparts to thwart the river of Styx and its Sting Styx remains in the valley of your mountain Meandering slowly with no guide and no life The clouds of unknowing rise like a fountain Putting this river forever out of sight There is only Life on that immortal mountain peak Even Shamballa and ShangraLa remain below It's a summit few reach though many do seek But a Map is now here for each and all to know The Map is the Way, the truth and the Tao Lost in the forgotten Alexandrian ruse but resurrected like Isis its here and its now Let the games begin, Immortality is ours to choose!!! I hope they move and inspire as they did me when I wrote them ;-) ArchivesCategoriesAll |
