A Beauty That Warms The Morning Sun 12/26/2011
The morning sun grows warm by your effulgence And in turn evaporates emerald dew Blades of grass bask with indulgence In timeless beams of golden hue O jewel of Gaia whence came your glory Pale beyond the nocturne clouds Perhaps yours is a unknown story A mystery your ne'er seen beauty shrouds Oh hidden springs of immortal light Lie within your breathless sight Could a poet dare compare The Majestic Sun to candlelight Such is how words fall like summer snow Unto sun warmed terrestial sands Melting and crucified by beauties glow Resurrected by only a poets hands Add Comment | AuthorThese are a sample of what I feel are some of the best poems I have written since 1998. All of them were inspired by Love. I hope they move and inspire as they did me when I wrote them ;-) ArchivesCategoriesAll |
